RepensAR Investor Summit: "There is a latent feeling that the time is right".

The RepensAR Summit, held at the Malba in Buenos Aires, brought together leading financial experts to discuss the future of Argentina.

Facundo Sonatti, moderator of one of the panels and part of the investment fund Américas Capital, highlighted in his column "Empresas con historia" on Viva la Radio on Cadena 3 the importance of creating an ecosystem where entrepreneurs and investors can openly discuss investments.

"What we sought in this morning meeting was to question entrepreneurs and generate a space for discussion about money and investments," he commented. During the event, topics such as Venture Capital, real estate and agriculture were addressed, with the participation of relevant figures such as Hernán Casá, co-founder of Mercado Libre, and Miguel Gutiérrez, former president of YPF.

Among the most relevant conclusions, Sonatti mentioned that "there is a latent feeling that this is Argentina's moment, after 12 or 13 years of no growth". However, he also warned that "fundamental corrections are needed for those expectations to be fulfilled", referring to the need to adjust variables that investors still do not see clearly.

The moderator also highlighted that political and economic uncertainty continues to be an obstacle for investment. "Argentines have to be convinced to invest; there are many families with liquidity that observe the market before making decisions," he said.

In addition, the impact of technology on finance and real estate was discussed, with the presence of Steve Wackel from MIT, who emphasized that "artificial intelligence is still somewhat uncertain as to how it will be applied in different verticals".

Sonatti concluded that "it is essential to align interests so that there is more work for everyone", emphasizing the need for stability and clear rules in the country.
