Project Manager
for Investment Platform Development
We are looking for a Project Manager to administer and manage the development of an investment platform. You will be in charge of leading and supervising the development process of the technological platform for investors.
Must have project management skills, technical knowledge and understanding of the requirements set forth by the Company to meet the objective.
Responsibilities:
Planning and organization: develop detailed project plan including objectives, milestones, required resources, schedule and budget. Organize and coordinate team tasks for development, ensuring that deadlines and deliverables are met.
Team management: supervise and direct the members of the development team as necessary to achieve the objective.
Intra-company collaboration: Working closely with the different teams in the company to ensure proper alignment, managing expectations and ensuring successful project delivery.
Effective communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including team members, customers, suppliers and internal and external stakeholders. Report regularly on progress, risks and issues identified, and facilitate informed decision making.
Risk management: Identify, assess and manage project risks. Develop contingency plans to address potential problems or deviations from the original plan. Regularly monitor risks and take corrective action as necessary.
Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality standards for the development of the platform. Perform testing and ensure the quality of the delivered software. Ensure that best development practices are followed and comply with applicable security and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Project management experience: Proven experience in managing software development projects, preferably in the financial field. Knowledge and application of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
Knowledge of the financial sector: Familiarity with the concepts and processes related to investment and trading. Understanding of financial industry requirements and regulations, including compliance and data security aspects.
Leadership skills: Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, motivate team members and foster a collaborative environment. Conflict resolution and decision making skills.
Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences, including team members, customers and stakeholders. Active listening, clarity of expression and ability to influence.
Organization and planning: Ability to establish and maintain detailed project plans, manage resources and deadlines, and accurately track project progress.
Results-oriented: Focus on achieving project objectives and meeting deadlines. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Technical knowledge: Understand the basic principles of software development and related technologies, which facilitates communication and collaboration with the development team.
